ownerDocument Property

Retrieves the document object associated with the node.

Syntax

HTMLN/A
Scripting[ oDoc = ] object.ownerDocument

Possible Values

oDoc Object that receives the document object.

The property is read-only. The property has no default value.

Remarks

The ownerDocument is the document object that is used to create new nodes.

This property returns null when the node is a document.
